Caregiver Program Canada

Canada’s Caregiver Programs are designed to support families who need care for children, seniors, and individuals with medical needs, while providing caregivers with legal work opportunities and a pathway to permanent residence in Canada.

These programs recognize the essential role caregivers play in Canadian society and offer structured immigration options for qualified individuals who wish to work and settle in Canada.

Caregivers in Canada

Home caregivers provide vital support to individuals who require assistance with daily living due to age, illness, or disability. Working in private homes, caregivers offer personalized care that promotes safety, comfort, and independence.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Personal care and hygiene assistance
  • Medication support
  • Mobility and daily activity assistance
  • Emotional support and companionship

Through Canada’s caregiver programs, eligible workers can progress from temporary employment to long-term residence, contributing meaningfully to Canadian communities.
